Whistleblowing System

Our Whistleblowing System

Compliance with laws and internal regulations is a top priority for Sprüth Magers. We have set up a reporting channel to receive information about violations and misconduct within the company and to investigate these fairly and securely.

This enables employees worldwide and external whistleblowers to anonymously report breaches of rules and misconduct.

This way, Sprüth Magers can prevent damages to the gallery, its employees and third parties, as well as protect aggrieved parties.

Rule Violations

High-risk breaches of rules primarily include corruption, antitrust law, and money laundering offenses, as well as violations of technical specifications or breaches of environmental regulations. Interpersonal violence, such as sexual harassment or human rights violations, is also included.

The Procedure

Sprüth Magers’ whistleblowing system is based on the principle of just procedure.

We guarantee the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, those affected, and employees who cooperate in clarifying the reported misconduct.

We ensure that we do not take any measures to identify anonymous whistleblowers who do not abuse the whistleblowing system.

We do not tolerate any discrimination against whistleblowers and all persons who contribute to investigations at Sprüth Magers.

The presumption of innocence applies until the violation is proven.

Discrimination or intimidation of employees who report misconduct or a violation is against Sprüth Magers’ Code of Conduct and will result in disciplinary action under employment law.

Reporting Relevant Information: The Online Whistleblowing Channel

Our whistleblowing system offers the possibility to anonymously report indications of misconduct or violations that require a quick review and response from Sprüth Magers via an Internet-based communication platform.

The system is confidential and protected.

Processing of Reports

A team of qualified Sprüth Magers employees thoroughly examines all reports of potential serious violations of rules by employees and systematically investigates.

First, you receive an acknowledgment of receipt. The investigation team then evaluates your report. This includes obtaining information, in particular from whistleblowers.

Only if this gives rise to initial suspicion of a potential violation of rules will a suitable investigation unit be commissioned to investigate the case.

The investigation team then evaluates the results and, if misconduct is found, recommends an appropriate sanction.

Information on the processing status of your report will be communicated to you immediately.

Investigations are conducted with the utmost confidentiality. Information is processed in a fair, expeditious and protected manner.
